About Us

We're Plantio La Orquidea and we've been an orchid grower here in Sarasota, FL since 2003. We are a branch of the largest orchid-growing nursery in Venezuela, that is still run by our family back home. We moved to Florida 18 years ago with our children to run this location. We carry orchid species and hybrids, and many unique collector's varieties that aren't found elsewhere. We're looking forward to expanding our online business into other warm-weather states and cover as much of the nation as possible.
